--- title: Remodeling & Construction Blog | Tim Macksey description: Having been raised in the building and land development business I was always was very curious about how the buildings fit together. Entertained by craftsmen for hours on end, learning through watching, questioning and then doing many of what was seen in my father's workshop. Seeing projects evolve from nothing into wonderful buildings and environments as a result of my hands and vision invigorates me to this day. --- [![ParadiseRemodel](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/hs-fs/hubfs/ParadiseRemodel.png?width=1116&height=331&name=ParadiseRemodel.png "ParadiseRemodel")](http://www.mackseyconstruction.com) - What We Build - [Remodeling](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/what-we-build/remodeling/) - [Site Improvements](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/what-we-build/site-improvements/) - [Pools & Spas](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/what-we-build/pools-spas) - [New Construction](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/what-we-build/new-construction/) - Portfolio - [Featured Projects](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/blog/tag/projects) - [Photo Gallery](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/gallery/) - [About Us](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/about-us/) - [Blog](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/blog/tag/blog) - [Contact](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/contact/) ![Riegel’s Point- Siesta Key-09](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Riegel%E2%80%99s%20Point-%20Siesta%20Key-09.jpg?width=1600&name=Riegel%E2%80%99s%20Point-%20Siesta%20Key-09.jpg "Riegel’s Point- Siesta Key-09") # Remodeling & Construction # [Bright Contemporary Home](https://www.paradiseremodelingfl.com/blog/bright-contemporary-home) #### Categories ![Arrow](https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3842749/ps4-Pack/sidebar.svg "Arrow") #### Subscribe![](https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3842749/ps4-Pack/subscribe-rss-button.svg) ![](https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3842749/ps4-Pack/close-button.svg) #### About blog We are a full-service construction company.
